[Chorus]
Happy birthday, praise the Lord!
For the gift of life today;
Thank You, Father, for Your love,
You have brought me all the way.
Hallelujah! Praise the Lord!
Let my grateful heart rejoice;
For another blessed year,
I will praise You with my voice.

[Verse 1]
This is the day the Lord has made,
I will rejoice and gladly sing;
Through every night, through every day,
Your loving hands have sheltered me.
The breath of life is still in me,
Your mercy greets me with the dawn;
Almighty God, I give You thanks,
For by Your grace I journey on.

[Verse 2]
When I remember days gone by,
The roads You brought me safely through,
The battles fought, the victories won,
I know, O Lord, it came from You.
Through joy and sorrow, sun and rain,
Your faithful love has never changed;
And now another year has come,
Forever blessed be Your name.

[Verse 3]
Not gold nor silver could repay
The goodness You have shown to me;
For life itself is wealth untold,
A precious gift that comes from Thee.
For every heartbeat, every breath,
For strength to rise and see the day,
Receive the praises of my heart;
Almighty God, be praised always.

[Verse 4]
As I begin another year,
O Father, guide me by Your hand;
Direct my footsteps in Your truth,
And help me follow Your command.
Let holiness adorn my life,
Let righteousness be all my way;
And may the purpose of my life
Bring glory to Your name each day.

May every year that You may give
Draw me still nearer to Your throne;

That I belong to You alone.
Whatever seasons I may see,
In times of plenty or of need,
My heart will trust Your faithful Word,
For You are everything to me.
