Praise To The Father Holy And True

(Monday, 9th March 2026)

[Verse 1]
When men set out for earthly gain,
They press through toil and loss and pain;
Until their strength and breath are gone,
They still pursue and still press on.
How much the more should we endure,
Whose heavenly hope shall stand secure;
For we are called by God above
To walk the way of truth and love.

[Chorus]
Praise to the Father, holy and true,
He will sustain us all in life through;
Though trials rise and sorrows fall,
His hand shall guide, His grace shall call.
Seek first His kingdom, seek His face,
Walk in His truth and saving grace;
Praise to the Father evermore,
Whose mercy leads us to His shore.

[Verse 2]
Though wealth may fade and hopes depart,
Life still remains the greater part.
For he who lives may rise again,
And find new strength through loss and pain.
If one should fall upon the way,
He must not cast his hope away;
The race once lost may yet be won,
If he will rise and still press on.

[Chorus]
Praise to the Father, holy and true,
He will sustain us all in life through;
Though trials rise and sorrows fall,
His hand shall guide, His grace shall call.
Seek first His kingdom, seek His face,
Walk in His truth and saving grace;
Praise to the Father evermore,
Whose mercy leads us to His shore.

[Verse 3]
If once a traveller missed the road,
Still, God can lift the heavy load;
The very place where one has strayed
May yet become where grace is laid.
For all the earth is God's alone,
Its paths are known before His throne;
And He can turn the darkest night
Into a path of joy and light.

[Chorus]
Praise to the Father, holy and true,
He will sustain us all in life through;
Though trials rise and sorrows fall,
His hand shall guide, His grace shall call.
Seek first His kingdom, seek His face,
Walk in His truth and saving grace;
Praise to the Father evermore,
Whose mercy leads us to His shore.

[Verse 4]
Alas, the church has gone astray,
And turned from truth's most holy way;
Many now seek the gifts alone,
And do not bow before His throne.
But he who knows the weight of sin
Will walk with fear and truth within;
In lowly heart, through faith and prayer,
He learns the cross of Christ to bear.

[Chorus]
Praise to the Father, holy and true,
He will sustain us all in life through;
Though trials rise and sorrows fall,
His hand shall guide, His grace shall call.
Seek first His kingdom, seek His face,
Walk in His truth and saving grace;
Praise to the Father evermore,
Whose mercy leads us to His shore.

[Verse 5]
Oh, think of Adam's bitter fall,
And tears should then awaken all.
For once, they knew the Father's peace,
Before their joy and glory ceased.
Yet men now chase the fading dust,
And place in worldly gold their trust;
While few will seek with prayer and cries
The heavenly home beyond the skies.

[Chorus]
Praise to the Father, holy and true,
He will sustain us all in life through;
Though trials rise and sorrows fall,
His hand shall guide, His grace shall call.
Seek first His kingdom, seek His face,
Walk in His truth and saving grace;
Praise to the Father evermore,
Whose mercy leads us to His shore.

[Verse 6]
Beloved, let every loss be past,
And hold to Christ your soul steadfast;
Your life is worth far more indeed
Than all the riches men may need.
Seek first the kingdom of the Lord,
And trust the promise of His word;
The righteous path He shall impart,
If you but give your heart to Him.

[Chorus]
Praise to the Father, holy and true,
He will sustain us all in life through;
Though trials rise and sorrows fall,
His hand shall guide, His grace shall call.
Seek first His kingdom, seek His face,
Walk in His truth and saving grace;
Praise to the Father evermore,
Whose mercy leads us to His shore.
