Open Thy Mouth, Let Freedom Fly

(Sunday, 21st June 2026)

[Verse 1]
Within Thy house, O Lord Most High,
How many wounded spirits cry,
Thy church is filled with hidden pain,
Yet Thou art never cruel nor vain.

[Chorus]
Open thy mouth, let the bird fly,
Before the final hour draws nigh,
Seek peace with God, forsake all sin,
And let the Holy Father in.

[Verse 2]
No wicked Father art Thou, Lord,
But men have cast away Thy Word,
As cars break down when rules are spurned,
So souls grow weak when truth is turned.

[Chorus]
Open thy mouth, let the bird fly,
Before the final hour draws nigh,
Seek peace with God, forsake all sin,
And let the Holy Father in.

[Verse 3]
The Maker's book we must obey,
Or lose the straight and holy way,
Thy law was given for our peace,
That sin may die, and troubles cease.

[Chorus]
Open thy mouth, let the bird fly,
Before the final hour draws nigh,
Seek peace with God, forsake all sin,
And let the Holy Father in.

[Verse 4]
Though many bear the Christian name,
Their hearts are mingled with the shame,
The world has entered those within,
And holiness is stained by sin.

[Chorus]
Open thy mouth, let the bird fly,
Before the final hour draws nigh,
Seek peace with God, forsake all sin,
And let the Holy Father in.

[Verse 5]
O soul, arise and seek release,
That thou may walk the path of peace,
Open thy mouth, let freedom start,
Let out the bird within thy heart.

[Chorus]
Open thy mouth, let the bird fly,
Before the final hour draws nigh,
Seek peace with God, forsake all sin,
And let the Holy Father in.

[Verse 6]
Lord, cleanse Thy church from worldly ways,
Restore the fear of holy days,
Till every heart Thy truth shall own,
And live for Thee, and Thee alone.

[Final Chorus]
Open thy mouth, let the bird fly,
Before the final hour draws nigh,
Seek peace with God, forsake all sin,
And let the Holy Father in.
