O Cleanse Us, Lord, From Sin's Deep Stain

(Monday, 22nd June 2026)

[Verse 1]
The Father sits, a righteous Judge,
Yet mercy dwells within His throne,
He sees the heart, He weighs the soul,
And judges not as man has known.

[Chorus]
O cleanse us, Lord, from sin's deep stain,
Deliver us by Jesus' blood,
Repair each root, renew each heart,
And lead us home to rest with God.

[Verse 2]
Though one should walk long years in sin,
If he repents before his breath,
The Father's pardon he shall find,
Yet still must stand beyond his death.

[Chorus]
O cleanse us, Lord, from sin's deep stain,
Deliver us by Jesus' blood,
Repair each root, renew each heart,
And lead us home to rest with God.

[Verse 3]
Alas, for sin has brought great grief,
Its bitter wound destroys the soul.
O that the truth may pierce our hearts,
And make the broken sinner whole.

[Chorus]
O cleanse us, Lord, from sin's deep stain,
Deliver us by Jesus' blood,
Repair each root, renew each heart,
And lead us home to rest with God.

[Verse 4]
The Father formed His servant's tongue,
A sharpened shaft, a flaming sword,
To warn His children of their sins,
And bring them back unto the Lord.

[Chorus]
O cleanse us, Lord, from sin's deep stain,
Deliver us by Jesus' blood,
Repair each root, renew each heart,
And lead us home to rest with God.

[Verse 5]
To Moses came the holy Word,
A call from every sin to flee,
For though the people had been blessed,
Sin held them back from liberty.

[Chorus]
O cleanse us, Lord, from sin's deep stain,
Deliver us by Jesus' blood,
Repair each root, renew each heart,
And lead us home to rest with God.

[Verse 6]
Then Jesus came, the living Truth,
And raised the warning loud and clear,
The soul that cleaves to sin and death,
Can never in God's rest appear.

[Final Chorus]
O cleanse us, Lord, from sin's deep stain,
Deliver us by Jesus' blood,
Repair each root, renew each heart,
And bring us to the rest of God.
