O Christ, Our Cleansing Fountain

(Wednesday, 29th July, 2026)

[Verse 1]
The Earth belongs to God alone,
Its fullness rests beneath His throne;
Though mortal eyes may fail to see,
He shows us what our sight should be.

[Chorus]
O Christ, our cleansing Fountain pure,
Through Thy great blood our souls are sure;
What sin has lost and darkness claimed,
By holiness shall be regained.

[Verse 2]
The Father gave His holy Word
To guide the lives of all who heard;
Yet when His counsel we despise,
We open doors where danger lies.

[Chorus]
O Christ, our cleansing Fountain pure,
Through Thy great blood our souls are sure;
What sin has lost and darkness claimed,
By holiness shall be regained.

[Verse 3]
Rejoice always, unceasing pray,
Give thanks to God through every day;
His thoughts toward us are thoughts of peace,
To give us hope and sweet release.

[Chorus]
O Christ, our cleansing Fountain pure,
Through Thy great blood our souls are sure;
What sin has lost and darkness claimed,
By holiness shall be regained.

[Verse 4]
The Father formed the Earth with care
And placed our needed blessings there;
He never leaves His children lone,
But calls the wandering sinner home.

[Chorus]
O Christ, our cleansing Fountain pure,
Through Thy great blood our souls are sure;
What sin has lost and darkness claimed,
By holiness shall be regained.

[Verse 5]
Though sin has stained both heart and hand,
And evil has defiled the land,
The Father gave His only Son,
The cleansing work through Christ is done.

[Final Chorus]
O Christ, our cleansing Fountain pure,
Through Thy great blood our souls are sure;
What sin has lost and darkness claimed,
By holiness shall be regained.
