[Verse 1]
Every perfect gift, O Lord,
Comes from Thy gracious hand;
Thy blessing brings no grief with it,
But peace throughout the land.

[Chorus]
Jehovah God, the Giver true,
All blessings flow from Thee;
Let none seek gifts outside Thy will,
But wait in purity.

[Verse 2]
Thou givest as it pleaseth Thee,
Without partiality;
Thy gifts are pure, Thy ways are clean,
Thy works are sanctity.

[Chorus]
Jehovah God, the Giver true,
All blessings flow from Thee;
Let none seek gifts outside Thy will,
But wait in purity.

[Verse 3]
The child is heritage from Thee,
The womb's fruit Thy reward;
Thou art the Owner of all life,
The holy, sovereign Lord.

[Chorus]
Jehovah God, the Giver true,
All blessings flow from Thee;
Let none seek gifts outside Thy will,
But wait in purity.

[Verse 4]
Yet many could not wait on Thee,
Nor trust Thy appointed hour;
They sought a path outside Thy law,
And sorrow gained its power.

[Chorus]
Jehovah God, the Giver true,
All blessings flow from Thee;
Let none seek gifts outside Thy will,
But wait in purity.

[Verse 5]
O Father, many weary souls
Cry out with hidden pain;
They seek fruitfulness on Earth,
Yet labour seems in vain.

[Chorus]
Jehovah God, the Giver true,
All blessings flow from Thee;
Let none seek gifts outside Thy will,
But wait in purity.

[Final Chorus]
Jehovah God, the Giver true,
All blessings flow from Thee;
Let none seek gifts outside Thy will,
But wait in purity.
